Slice A6__SC Truck Chassis

90.00

This most recent version and is really the ultimate chassis for the Traxxas Slash 2WD.

In a way it resembles the Slice A3 which is the chassis that really got me the most attention in those early days.  Using the vertical side frame design creates boxed frame effect. This make the truck very strong but still airy and light.  Non of the other LCG chassis you can put on your Slash will come close to handling this good.  Its just a matter of fact.  The Slash front end is lacking in steering travel. Even any of the upgrade parts will not increase the travel of the steering.  The wheels will only turn so far!

You can distribute more the trucks weight to the front end.  This will give the front wheels maximum bite.  The better they grab, the more you turn.  The second real advantage to the mid motor design is the truck ability to jump.  All the short course trucks are tail heavy.  No avoiding it if the motor is in the back.  If your a good driver then you know how to launch the truck just right as to land on the down slope of the next hill/jump.  If they over shoot, they plow their nose.  If they under shoot......Blamo!  Into the face of said hill/jump.  What you can't do is punch it and hold it leaving he jump.  If you go to fast and stay in the air too long,  you front end will go skyward.  You will crash down on you ass.  You can launch it and land flat on flat ground...just can't do it.  Now, My mid motor chassis will fly much better.  If you have a good jump face?  You can just peg it.  The will fly much more level and gives a little more attitude control in the air.

Jump right over those Fancy Trucks and pull away!
